Behind the Scenes, 31: Lunar Love

For this performance art piece that I did a couple weeks ago in Amsterdam, I covered my body in grapes and sponge bathed my naked round body in purple grape juice. The cool juices felt amazing flowing over my body and it was mezmerizing to watch the droplets run down the hills of my newly forming breasts and growing belly. After my body was dripping with purple sweetness, I filled an enema bottle with grape juice and filled myself first with the juice, then with my fist in which I expelled the juice and coated my body and filled my mouth with the juice expulsion.
This performance felt even more intimate and ritualistic and meaningful with my new pregnant body.
